Philosophy of JPP

The philosophy of JPP is grounded in the spirit of multidisciplinary exploration and collaboration, aiming to integrate insights from diverse disciplines to advance knowledge in multidisciplinary education. For more information, please refer to the JPP Mission and Vision page.

Who Can Submit?

JPP welcomes submissions from researchers, educators, and practitioners who own the copyright to their work or are authorized by the copyright owners. Authors retain the initial ownership of their copyrights unless otherwise agreed upon with their institution or employer.

General Submission Rules

Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. By submitting to JPP, the authors affirm that the work will not be submitted to other journals during the editorial decision process. Submissions to working paper series do not constitute prior publication.

Authors should contact the editorial team at JPP if there are concerns regarding submission terms.

Manuscript Review and Production Process

JPP employs a double-blind peer review process to ensure objectivity and quality. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review.

  1. Preliminary Review: The Editor-in-Chief assesses submissions for originality, relevance, and fit with the journal’s scope. Submissions meeting these criteria proceed to peer review; otherwise, they are rejected with feedback.
  2. Peer Review: Assigned reviewers evaluate the manuscript, embedding comments and suggestions. Their recommendations inform the editor’s decision.
  3. Editorial Decision: Based on peer feedback, the Editor-in-Chief decides to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript. Authors receive a detailed review report.
  4. Revisions: Revised manuscripts undergo additional review cycles if necessary. Final decisions rest with the Editor-in-Chief.
  5. Production: Accepted articles are copyedited and formatted. Authors receive proofs for final approval before online publication.

Article Processing Charge

All articles published in JPP are open access, ensuring global availability without subscription fees. A modest Article Processing Charge (APC) of $20 or Rp 300,000 is applied upon acceptance. Discounts are available for authors affiliated with low-income institutions and editorial board members.

Formatting Requirements

Authors should adhere to the APA 7th Edition style guide for formatting titles, abstracts, headings, citations, and references.

Submissions must be in English and formatted in Microsoft Word or RTF. Manuscripts should include:

  • Title, Abstract (150–200 words), and Keywords (3–5).
  • Text with appropriate headings and subheadings.
  • References adhering to APA style.

Authors are encouraged to use active voice and ensure clarity and consistency throughout the manuscript.

Rights for Authors and JPP

Authors retain copyright and license their work under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 Multinational License (CC BY 4.0). This permits others to share and adapt the work for any purpose, with proper attribution to the original authors and JPP.

For further inquiries regarding usage rights or exceptions, please contact the editorial team.

General Terms and Conditions of Use

Authors and users of the JPP website agree to abide by the journal’s ethical standards and terms of use. Any breach of these terms may result in withdrawal of submission or access rights.

These policies represent the complete agreement between JPP and contributors regarding manuscript submission and publication.
